Orange County Virginia Veterans Memorial
We all know someone from our community—family members, friends, loved ones, active duty, retired—who served or is serving right now, today. Many service men and women from our county made it possible for us to live in the ‘home of the free’ because they exemplify the most why we are also the ‘home of the brave.’ Many ordinary members from our community are heroes who paid the ultimate price protecting us and our country. Our sole mission and our passion here at Orange County Veteran’s Memorial is to honor the sacrifices made by our service men and women by building a permanent memorial to honor them, to honor those from our community who answered the call to serve and defend our freedom no matter the cost.
More brave men and women from our County choose to join the military and dedicate their lives in service of others, than the rest of the Commonwealth, and most of the United States. These veterans and heroes, many born and raised in our neighborhoods, educated in our schools, have served us proudly, guarding our liberties and protecting our people. Booster Park, located in the heart of Orange County, Virginia, is a place rich in history and patriotism. We believe it represents the perfect space to immortalize the names of our fallen heroes—many of them our sons, daughters, family, friends, and others from our community. Our veterans memorial at Booster Park will be a home dedicated to our bravest, for our community to gather, reflect, honor, and remember — be it on Memorial Day, Veterans Day, or any other day throughout the year..
